There are lots of valid reasons to become a vegetarian–it’s a great way to get more nutrients in your body,  for one thing.  You can never go wrong with a fruit-and-veggie-based diet!  Many vegetarians choose their lifestyle to protest cruelty to animals and the way meat is produced; still others are against corporate management of food (Monsanto, anyone?)
